It's so funny how you can almost predict their answers in this debate, there is such a pattern.
Moderator asks the question
Santorum dances around the question and veers his answer to attacking Romney
Romney defends by saying he made the right decision and once again boasting his business experience
Gingrich then talks about how Barack Obama is horrible
Ron Paul then comes in and gives a concise simple answer, that addresses the initial question and looks superior to the other fools.

Ask yourself this - is our current non-isolationist policy helping to keep away these recurrences? Sounds like we were doing just fine having isolationist principles and fighting when fights needed to happen. If anything, we're going to war more than we did back then - do you believe that this has no relation to our militarism?

During Isolation:
Casualties by war: WWI 117,000, WWII 417,000.
After Isolation:
Korea and Vietnam combine for 95,000, and Iraq and Afghanistan combine for 7,000.
I don't like the theory of policing the world, however the idea of becoming hermits concerns me more.

You're completely not taking into considering the advancements in technology accounting for the lower death rates in Iraq/Afghan, as well as Korea/Vietnam. Has absolutely nothing to do with isolationism vs militarism.
Also the World Wars were just that, a world war. Why not bring up fact that those were absolutely necessary while many would argue that Vietnam was not. From what I see: Isolation=necessary war, Militarism=Pointless&drawn out.

Bill O'Reily, on Fox news said the other night, after cnn debate, why don't the Republican candidates bring up gas prices, no one mentioned the gas problems. However, if you watch CNN, they have shown clip after clip of Newt Gingrich talking about gas prices and solutions, before and during the same debate O'Really speaks of. this is not a fantasy it is a fact.

No, I am. But I believe you're discounting just how many more countries have nuclear weaponry now, then at any point in WWI or II.
Isolation takes away our global influence.
What is your vision of a scenario of a World without the United State policing it? Mind you, I wont deny that this is what it is. But once it's in place withdrawing from that policy will have ramifications. I see Russia claiming lands to there west, Israel attacked on multiple fronts, Chinese expansion.

These IDIOT POLITICIANS keep making Ron Paul look like he is going to be in the running for President. Each one of them make Ron Paul's point of view correct. They keep fighting with eachother and showing each one's faults. And I find it funny that Romney and Santorum keep attacking eachother about their decisions,but they are considered "FRONT RUNNERS"? If this hasn't help you make a decision then I suggest you stay home on Election Day!

I like Ron Paul, he's obviously an honest guy who really believes what he's saying. They don't give him enough speaking time because they don't take him seriously, but he should be able to force himself into the conversation. Also when he does get a chance to speak, he never really seems to say anything of substance, he just seems to say something like "we need free markets" or "we need our freedom back!". It's a shame really.
